The crochet doily works beautifully around the base of a bridal bouquet. It’s a nice break from the satin ribbon we see a lot of and quite easily adds a touch of elegance. We simply arranged our bouquet, wrapped the doily around and used pearl pushpins to fasten it. If you have a doily that belonged to a grandmother, this would be a great way to use it and it would add some sentimental value. The doily is also a nice backdrop for a vintage brooch.
Are there any sentimental tokens you’ve thought about taking down the aisle with you?
